2027 Silverado For Sale in Tacoma
Chevy fans in the South Sound have been waiting for this one. The next-generation Silverado 1500 is on its way, marking the first true redesign since Chevrolet reworked the truck for the 2019 model year. If you're searching for a 2027 Silverado for sale in Tacoma, we want to be your first call. As the fifth-generation Silverado rolls toward production, Titus-Will Chevrolet is already preparing for its arrival, and we're ready to walk you through everything that's changing under the hood, inside the cabin, and out on the trail.
The All-New 2027 Chevy Silverado Arrives in Tacoma
This isn't a minor refresh. Chevy reworked the powertrain lineup, gave it new exterior styling, and rebuilt the technology inside the cabin. Tacoma drivers put their trucks through a lot day in and day out, and this new Silverado is built to handle whatever that looks like for you.
Chevrolet has confirmed the next-generation Silverado will be available late in 2026, with ordering and pricing details to follow later this year. We're staying in close contact with Chevrolet as details firm up, and we'll keep our Tacoma customers updated as build slots and delivery windows become clearer. If you want to be near the front of the line, now is the time to reach out.
What's New on the 2027 Chevy Silverado
Chevrolet is offering seven trims on the redesigned Silverado: Work Truck, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, Silverado (the trim formerly known as LT), Trail Boss, ZR2, and High Country. Three of those lean off-road, and the ZR2 sits at the top as the most off-road capable Silverado Chevrolet has ever built. For Tacoma-area contractors and fleet operators, the Work Truck trim is purpose-built for commercial use, making it a strong fit for local crews who need a dependable Chevy work truck without extras they'll never touch.
Under the hood, Chevrolet is offering four powertrain choices. There are two new V8 engines, a 5.7L and a 6.6L, and Chevrolet says the Silverado now offers the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 in its class. Buyers who want more efficiency without giving up capability can opt for the enhanced 2.7L TurboMax inline-4, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
For serious towing and hauling, the 3.0L Duramax turbodiesel inline-6 rounds out the lineup. Whichever engine you choose, Chevrolet backs the 4WD Silverado trim with a standard Z71 package, which brings skid plates, hill descent control, and an off-road-tuned suspension along for the ride.
Bold Redesigned Exterior
The 2027 Silverado wears a bolder stance than its predecessor, with a stronger grille and new LED headlights and taillights that give the truck a more assertive presence on Tacoma streets. Pronounced wheel-opening moldings and updated rocker treatments carry that stronger look down the sides of the truck, and Chevrolet is making dual exhaust standard on Custom trim and above.
Each off-road trim brings its own personality. The ZR2 rides on 35-inch tires and adds a hood bulge, front and rear electronic locking differentials, and Multimatic DSSV shocks built for serious trail work, while the Trail Boss picks up a dedicated off-road hood along with Torch Red-edged seatbelts and seats. At the top of the lineup, the High Country wears a new badge, standard 22-inch After Midnight machine-faced wheels, darker trim accents, and a Tritan Satin grille. Chevrolet is also giving the High Country trim a panoramic sunroof, a first for the Silverado, for a more open, upscale cabin feel.
Available 16.3-Inch Digital Cockpit
Every 2027 Silverado comes standard with a 16.3-inch center display paired with a 12.2-inch driver information center, and on the ZR2 and High Country trims, buyers can experience more than 60 inches of combined digital display space. On the ZR2 and High Country trims, Chevrolet adds an 11.5-inch front passenger screen, a head-up display, and a rear camera mirror as standard equipment.
The tech list continues with Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual wireless chargers, a 360-degree camera system, and Wi-Fi hotspot capability with an active subscription. One detail we appreciate: Chevrolet kept physical buttons for HVAC and volume controls, so drivers aren't stuck hunting through touchscreen menus for basic functions. The reconfigurable Multi-Flex center console also adds useful storage and everyday versatility, a practical touch for anyone using the truck for work.
Chevrolet is also bringing Super Cruise to the new Silverado, its hands-free highway driving system, and it includes a segment-exclusive hands-free trailering capability that no other truck on the road currently offers. Drivers using Super Cruise across GM's lineup have already logged more than 1 billion hands-free miles, giving Tacoma buyers real confidence in the technology before they ever get behind the wheel.
Why the 2027 Silverado Is Worth Buying
Between the redesigned powertrains, the expanded trim lineup, and technology like Super Cruise and the panoramic sunroof available on the High Country trim, the 2027 Silverado gives Tacoma drivers more ways to match a truck to their actual needs. Whether you need a no-frills Work Truck for daily job-site use or a loaded High Country for weekend trips around the Pacific Northwest, this generation covers more ground than the truck it replaces.
